Team 2:
Guard Eyes
In some areas, the blind have difficulties and are unsure on how to determine their direction and location when walking around cities. With that in mind, we want to help make it easier for them to walk and move around safely and confidently.
How will we do this?
We look for areas with textile pavements on the road in the cities. We are then going to improve the textile paver by placing the blind’s signboard on the T-junction of the road. Blind’s signboard is equipped with Braille Words with instructions and guides for walking. We will also install speakers at the signboard that produces sound and translates the information of brallie words especially for the transition-blind to use.
