

Voting For Student Projects Ends
The Young Nation Builders Challenge is a social innovation challenge by Mah Sing Foundation to empower a pipeline of student change-makers to solve their local community’s most pressing problem.
This competition is divided into four rounds. Each round is designed to unleash student ideas and turn them into a reality.

Teams of 3 to 4 students register and send in an application video to introduce their team.

Top 15 student teams with the most interesting videos will be selected to attend a bootcamp to further validate and develop their ideas.
Round 2
Young Nation Builders Bootcamp
(23 to 26 March 2019)
The 15 teams will undergo a 4-week prototyping process, where they develop, execute and get public votes for their project.
(April 2019)
Round 3
Prototype, Execute, Engage
The Top 3 student teams will pitch their ideas and present their final prototype to a VIP panel of judges.

Grand Finale

The Young Nation Builder Challenge is a first of its kind student competition that is
designed to provide students with an opportunity to innovate and reinvent spaces
within their own community; allowing them to imagine what future living means and be involved in building spaces of the future.
